A car has been completely destroyed by fire in the hills of Hobart overnight.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Nelson Road on Mount Nelson just before 4am on Saturday.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby bushland.
Onlookers described the scene as “scary”.
‘Outside our house , thought it was ours at first. Suspect stolen, dumped & torched,” one Nelson Road resident said.
Police are now investigating the cause of the fire and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 64-28122024,” a spokesperson said.
