A car involved in a crash is believed to have been stolen from the side of a busy Hobart highway.
Police say officers are looking to locate a silver Toyota Hilux that was taken from the side of the East Derwent Highway at Risdon Vale after it had been involved in a crash this week.

Due to the substantial damage that made the car undrivable, it was likely towed from the scene.
Anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle being removed or captured dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
