A 28-year-old man has been arrested after an alleged attack at the Glenorchy bus mall on Sunday afternoon.
Detectives took the man into custody on Thursday after 4 days on the run.
The Glenorchy man has been charged with one count of wounding and is set to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court on Friday.
September 3: Glenorchy bus mall wounding leaves teenager injured
An investigation has been launched after a teenager was allegedly wounded in the Glenorchy bus mall this afternoon.
Police say an 18-year-old was injured around 3pm on Sunday following a disturbance between two groups.
The teenager was provided medical treatment at the scene before being transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital by paramedics.
The 28-year-old man believed to be behind the attack is thought to be known to the victim and is currently on the run.
Attempts to locate the man are currently underway, with anyone who may have witnessed the incident asked to contact Police.
The bus mall was closed for around an hour while investigators attended the scene.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
