A new charity house has hit the market in Cygnet, with its sale aimed at raising funds for Ryan Wiggins.

The community and several local companies have come together to build the house from scratch, with proceeds going towards supporting Ryan’s recovery from a tragic accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

Saturday’s open house offered potential buyers a chance to view the magnificent property, which is built on the Bay Side of Cygnet and has the support of the local community running through its foundations.

Ryan, who played for the Cygnet Football Club, has set a goal to walk again and is making progress towards that goal with therapy and support.

Funds raised from the sale of the house will help Ryan pay for travel expenses for therapy, which is not available in Tasmania.

The building of the house involved dozens of local companies and residents who donated their time, effort and materials, with some of them working during their own free time and weekends.

The house features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
