A cigarette butt is believed to have been the cause of a bush fire in Kingston this afternoon.
Staff from the nearby McDonald’s and Bottle Shop rushed out to extinguish the flames before firefighters arrived shortly before 2pm on Tuesday.
The fire is one of several currently being bought under control by firefighters across the state.
