Police have launched an investigation after a Sandy Bay service station was burgled in the early hours of Monday morning.
Initial investigations suggest that someone in motorcycle gear entered the business on Sandy Bay Road around 2:50AM, before returning an hour later and stealing a ‘significant quantity of cigarettes and cash’.

The suspect, who was on a dark-coloured motorcycle, fled the scene following the robbery.
Detectives are asking anyone who was driving nearby at the time, or with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
The business was closed at the time of the theft.
