He went to St Virgil’s school in Hobart from 2010 to 2017, with the school taking to social media on Tuesday to share their sadness of the “tragic loss” of an ‘Old Virgilian’ and brother of current staff member, Miss Jamie Symons.

Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff says his thoughts are “very much” with Kane’s family, friends and loved ones, and “all those affected by this horrific tragedy”.
