Tributes are pouring in for 20-year-old Noah Keogh, who died after an alleged knife attack on the Hobart waterfront on Saturday night.
Police believe the young man was fatally stabbed during a targeted altercation in the Morrison Street car park in the popular Salamanca precinct around 11:45pm.
Noah’s sister Zoey shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, describing him as “the most genuine, kind-hearted, selfless, charismatic, hard-working boy”.
“I am so deeply lost for words and I don’t want to believe this is true,” she wrote.

“You always knew how to put a smile on the faces around you.”
“Life will never be the same without you. It already feels a whole lot lonelier without you.”

Friends remembered Noah as “one in a million”, known for his warmth and energy that lifted everyone around him.
“You always had that charismatic energy around you, putting smiles on everyone’s faces,” one friend wrote.
Another described him as the “funniest and kindest person I’ve ever met”.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder, wounding and assault over the alleged incident, which also left a 23-year-old man injured.

The second victim was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The teenage suspect, who cannot be named, faced the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody for his next appearance on November 19.
Tasmania Police are continuing their investigation and have appealed for witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to investigators to come forward.
