A GoFundMe has raised more than $15,000 for the partner and three-year-old daughter of a man killed in a motorcycle crash on Easter Saturday.
Nick died after coming off a motorbike on a private property at Moriarty, east of Devonport, on Saturday afternoon.
Fundraiser organiser Leah Kennett launched the page within hours to support Nick’s partner Claire and their three-year-old daughter Nadia.
“My son in law was tragically killed on his motorbike yesterday,” she wrote on social media. “Our hearts are broken.”

On the GoFundMe page, Kennett said the funds would go towards debts, bills, daycare fees, rent and everyday living costs to ease the burden on Claire as a single mother.
“Ideally we would like to help set them up for the future,” she said.

“Any little bit would be appreciated.”
By Monday evening, the fundraiser had attracted 127 donations totalling $15,155.
Police were called to the property around 2:40pm on Saturday but Nick died at the scene.
“A full investigation will be conducted into the crash and a report will be prepared for the coroner,” a police spokesperson said.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
