Firefighters called to bushfire on hill next to Hobart’s Brooker Highway

Multiple fire crews have rushed to Glebe after a vegetation fire broke out next alongside the Brooker Highway this evening.

The blaze, across the road from the BP Service Station, was first reported to authorities around 6:30pm on Thursday.

The Tasmania Fire Service say there is no cause for concern at this stage.

They confirmed the cause of the blaze remains unknown.
