Cricket Tasmania has secured former Queensland Academy of Sport High Performance Manager Scott Dickinson to join its high performance team.
Dickinson has more than 25 years of experience across Olympic, professional and high-performance sporting systems in Australia and internationally.
“I feel privileged to join such a proud and successful organisation as Cricket Tasmania,” he said.
“I look forward to bringing my experience from a range of elite sporting environments to the team and playing a role in shaping the continued success of Tasmanian cricket.”

The appointment will see Dickinson oversee Cricket Tasmania’s sports science and sports medicine teams as Head of Performance Services.
His career spans senior leadership roles with Swimming Australia, the Netherlands Olympic Committee, and within AFL and NRL systems.

He has also worked across rugby sevens, hockey and football programs at the Queensland Academy of Sport.
Cricket Tasmania High Performance General Manager Salliann Beams said Dickinson would be crucial to the organisation’s development.
“Scott will be an asset to the Cricket Tasmania team and will play a key role as we continue to create world-leading cricket systems to support the development of our players and wider staff,” she said.
“We believe Scott is exceptionally well suited to lead our Performance Services function and will play a key role in the evolution of our recent success so that we remain dominant in all formats.”
Dickinson will start his full-time role on April 27.
