Staff from Niko Niko Sushi in Kingston have issued an alert to shoppers and store owners at Channel Court Shopping Centre following a concerning incident at their outlet.
On Friday, a man was seen racing over to the Niko Niko sushi shop and stealing a pack of sushi on display while no one was looking.
While the financial value of the stolen goods was minimal, the cruel thief’s actions have raised concerns about potential repeat offences in the centre.

Nguyễn Long from Niko Niko has called on everyone frequenting Channel Court to be vigilant and safeguard their belongings.
“I don’t want anyone to experience the same feeling as me,” he said.
“The value is not much but the feeling of being stolen is horrible.”
It comes after Police announced they would be cracking down on anti-social behaviour, including crime around shopping centres, in Kingston earlier this month.
Unlawful and anti-social behavior can be reported to the police on 131 444.
