A 62-year-old woman from Southern Tasmania has been disqualified from driving for two years after she was caught more than four times over the legal alcohol limit near Richmond this morning.
Police say she was breath tested after being spotted “driving poorly” and returned a positive reading of 0.282.

Constable Etherington from Richmond Police Station said that poor driving and drink driving “places the Tasmanian community and other road users at serious risk”.
“No one can drive safely if they are under the influence of alcohol at any level, this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated by Tasmania Police,” Constable Etherington said.
The woman will face court at a later date.
