A fire that engulfed a house which was under construction in Gagebrook has been deemed deliberate by authorities.
The incident, which occurred shortly before 10pm last night, caused around $100,000 in damage to the Laurence Place property.

The Tasmania Fire Service say crews quickly contained the blaze, confining it to one room and minimising the extent of the damage.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Bridgewater CIB at 131444 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or crimestopperstas.com.au.
