A new concert series featuring some of Australia’s biggest musical acts will light up Hobart’s Wrest Point this November, marking the first event of its kind in the city centre.

Night at The Point will transform the waterfront lawns of Wrest Point into an open-air concert venue overlooking the River Derwent across three evenings from November 7-9.

“Performing at Night at the Point, surrounded by the energy of this incredible city and its people, is really special. The Tassie locals have always been so warm and welcoming, and I can’t wait to share this night of music and memories with everyone.”

The concert series is being brought to Hobart by the team behind Sydney’s Night at The Barracks and Brisbane’s Night at The Parkland events, in partnership with Federal Group.

Linda Collis, General Manager of Wrest Point, said she hopes the event will continue the venue’s legacy of bringing quality entertainment to Tasmania.

“A Night at The Point is a continuation of that story for us as we expand and showcase Tasmania as a world class destination for live entertainment – set against one of the state’s most iconic backdrops,” Collis said.
