The Tasmania JackJumpers have joined forces with local health insurer St Lukes for the upcoming NBL season.
St Lukes will become the team’s Diversity and Inclusion Community Partner under the new partnership.
As part of the collaboration, JackJumpers player Fabijan Krslovic will host a new podcast called ‘Vitamins’, featuring guests from within the team and the broader community.
The partnership will also see the development and implementation of a diversity and inclusion program, which includes the establishment of sensory areas on game days and the distribution of sensory packs at home games.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome St Lukes into the JackJumpers family,” JackJumpers CEO Christine Finnegan said.
“Their commitment to promoting health and wellbeing aligns perfectly with our values and this partnership will allow us to make a real difference in the community.”
St Lukes CEO Paul Lupo praised the JackJumpers for their efforts in uniting Tasmanians.
“The JackJumpers have done such an incredible job of bringing Tasmanians together, uniting us around sport, wellness and connection,” Lupo said.
“Our partnership will help even more people get involved by making game days more inclusive and engaging deeper into the community.”
