Police are appealing for information after a stolen car was abandoned in Penguin on Monday morning.
Officers tried to pull over a grey Toyota sedan on Dial Road just after 7:30am, but the driver took off.

The car was later found abandoned on Ironcliffe Road.
Police said the driver and passenger had disappeared by the time they got to the scene.
Anyone who saw the vehicle in the Penguin area between 7:30am and 8:30am is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
