A crash involving three vehicles has closed the East Derwent Highway in Otago.
Emergency services have established a roadblock in both directions while they attend the incident.
Details on the severity of injuries sustained by those involved remain unclear.
“Please avoid the area until the scene is cleared,” a police spokesperson said.
