Several facilities at Hobart’s Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre, including the large blue water slide and the leisure pool, have been closed due to an electrical issue.
The spa, sauna, steam room and leisure pool water features, playground and green slide are all out of action for an “undetermined period”.

The leisure pool itself remains open, while the cafe is operating with a limited menu.
“We are currently working with our external contractors to resolve the issue,” a spokesperson said.
The issue is understood to lie with the switchboard that powers the impacted facilities.
