Emergency services called to Blackmans Bay beach following isolated incident

A significant police operation is underway in Blackmans Bay following an “isolated incident” this afternoon.

In a statement to Pulse, a police spokesperson said there is “no risk to the public”.

It is understood a person was airlifted to hospital after receiving serious injuries.

Locals have reported a large presence of numerous police, fire and ambulance vehicles at the north end of the beach.

The rescue helicopter and a boat have also been dispatched to assist.
