Farmer Will Young from Love Island UK has landed in Tasmania with his Tassie partner Jessie Renée-Wynter after falling in love on the British reality show earlier this year.
Wynter, born and bred in Hobart, first found fame on Love Island Australia in 2019, before joining the UK version of the show in 2023.
Will, a sheep farmer from South East England, surprised Jessie with his visa and plane tickets to Australia last week after previously announcing he wouldn’t be able to join Jessie on her visit home ‘down under’ – due to farm commitments and visa issues.
The pair touched down in Sydney a week ago, before making the trip to Tasmania on Tuesday – giving Will a chance to meet Jessie’s family and explore her home island.

“I haven’t seen my little sister Stella, my brothers and my Dad since Christmas time and it just makes my heart so full to be bringing my boyfriend from the other side of the world home with me to meet them,” Jessie posted to Instagram on Tuesday.
“I couldn’t have dreamed to ever bring home a boyfriend as perfect as Will back to our little home all the way down in the country side of Tasmania. I have made a second home in the UK with Will and his family and now Will has a place he can call home here in Australia,” she added.
