Fern Tree officially has Tasmania’s best tap water, according to new findings.
Judges gathered in Launceston today today to taste-test water from all across the state, with Fern Tree winning the award for the second year in a row.

The taste test involved judges sampling water from various treatment plants and casting their votes to narrow down the pool of 12 contenders to just three: Glen Huon, Barrington and Fern Tree.
The water from Fern Tree will now move on to the national competition, which will be held in Melbourne.
The overall winner of that competition will then have the opportunity to compete at the annual international competition in Berkeley Springs, USA.
