A fire has broken out at Northern Tasmania’s Ashley Youth Detention Centre this evening.
Tasmania Fire Service tell Pulse a crew is en-route to the centre as a precaution, but they believe the ‘minor fire’ has already been extinguished.
In June, a deliberately lit fire caused $20,000 damage to a unit at the Meander Valley complex.
