Gagebrook road rage incident leaves driver with broken window

A road rage incident on the East Derwent Highway on Saturday evening has left a driver in need of repairs to his drivers-side window.

Police say they received reports of an altercation between a white Holden Rodeo ute and a black Mitsubishi Lancer between the Jordan River Bridge and the Gagebrook Roundabout at around 6:50pm last night.

The white Rodeo ute sustained damage to its driver’s door window, allegedly caused by the black Lancer, which was last seen in the Risdon Vale area.

Police are now investigating the incident and say they do not believe there is any danger to the public at this time.

In an effort to gather more information about the incident, police have called upon any witnesses to come forward with dash camera footage or other relevant information.
