In an ‘unusual incident’, a giant model chainsaw has been stolen from a Hobart business this week.
Police say officers are investigating the theft of the 5-metre fibreglass chainsaw from Roberts Don Mac on Argyle Street.

Investigators believe the model was stolen from the roof in the early hours of Monday morning and say it “would have been towed away from the scene by a large vehicle.”
Anyone with dash cam footage or information into the theft is asked to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers Tasmania and quote OR717846.
