A person has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash blocked a street on Hobart’s eastern shore this afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the Dampier Street and La Perouse Street intersection in Warrane just after 2:15pm on Friday.

Firefighters are understood to have worked to free the person from their vehicle, with paramedics then taking them to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Police say the person’s injuries are not believed to be serious.
La Perouse Street has since been reopened to traffic.
