The tragic death of Jacqui Purton has left her family and friends devastated, after the 37-year-old mother of four was killed on March 13th after being struck by a car on a property in Native Corners Road in Campania.
As the family grieves their sudden loss, Purton’s sister has taken to GoFundMe to raise money for funeral costs.
In a heartfelt post, she describes her sister’s caring nature and how she ‘always put others before herself’.
She writes, “If the shoe was on the other foot Jacqui would do anything for anyone.”
The fundraiser has a goal of $10,000 and says any amount, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Domestic violence is also mentioned in the post, with the plea to “save your family from the suffering and get out while you can.”
The GoFundMe page has already received an outpouring of support, with many leaving messages of condolence and support for the family.
The alleged perpetrator, a 38-year-old man known to Purton, has been charged with murder and is set to appear in court today.
