Melbourne rockers The Temper Trap and New Zealand singer BENEE will headline Good Gumnuts 2027 as the Burnie festival celebrates its fifth birthday.
The festival returns to the Agriplex at Romaine from Friday, March 5 to Sunday, March 7 with three days of live music, art and camping.
Dune Rats, Example, Luca Brasi, Meg Mac, Vera Blue and Winston Surfshirt also feature on the bill.
Babe Rainbow, Press Club, Sycco, Teenage Joans and WAAX are among the dozens of other acts announced.
The event has come a long way since its first year, when it drew around 300 people.
Last year up to 3,000 music lovers headed to the north-west coast for the festival, which included a sold-out pre-party.
Before Good Gumnuts, owners and directors Harry Badcock and Charlotte Grey threw a small festival to mark their first wedding anniversary with friends and family.
That led to a bigger invitation and the first Good Gumnuts, which was only ever meant to happen once.
“The first Good Gumnuts was going to be a one-off. We just wanted to do something a bit bigger, have some fun and extend the invite,” Badcock said.
“Then we loved it so much, especially bringing music to the coast, that we kept going.”
“Heading into year five is pretty surreal.”
He said he and Charlotte were “so stoked” that people come back each year and support the artists coming to Tasmania.
“We’re really thankful for everyone who shows up and for all the artists who want to come and play,” he said.
Badcock and Grey put the lineup together themselves, with Betty Taylor, The Slims and PARK RD among their picks for the weekend.
For the first time, the festival will offer a limited number of VIP tickets.
Presale opens at 9am on Wednesday, September 23 for people who have registered.
General sale starts at 9am on Monday, September 28.
