It was a wet and miserable day in Hobart on Tuesday, but one young man’s act of kindness shone through the rain.
After coming across a burning power pole in Blackmans Bay, the man noticed a policewoman directing traffic in the downpour without an umbrella.
Without hesitation, he stopped and hand-delivered his own blue umbrella, telling her to keep it and stay dry.
The mystery man’s act of kindness was quickly noticed by onlookers at the scene of the incident.
