Police are looking into multiple reports about a group of men who are alleged to have exposed themselves to beachgoers at Hobart’s Seven Mile Beach.
The group was reportedly flashing passing members of the public at the beach around 1pm last Friday.
The incident is not the only one to be reported to police in the last year, with “other reports of a similar nature” involving people allegedly acting inappropriately also being received.
To address this issue, police say an increased police of officers will be “actively targeting the area” in the coming weeks to stamp out the activity.
Anyone who may have witnessed the men or other inappropriate or suspicious activities at the beach is strongly encouraged to report it to the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
“[This will] allow police to quickly respond to the area and investigate,” a spokesperson said.
