Heartless thieves have once again targeted the Clarendon Vale Neighbourhood Centre community shed in Hobart, this time making off with ‘a number’ of valuable tools and equipment.
The unidentified individuals managed to gain access to the shed around 1:15am on Thursday morning, stealing engraved tools, drills and various construction equipment.
The stolen gear is not only of significant monetary value to the centre, but also vital for community projects and ongoing community initiatives.
In a plea online, the centre have asked online shoppers to keep an eye out for their equipment collection they have “worked so hard to build.”

“If you hear or know anything, or hear of, come by or see any tools for sale with CPCS engraved or any of the following please get in contact or call crime stoppers.”
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the early hours of Thursday morning or who may have information related to the incident to come forward.
Witnesses or informants can reach out to Clarence Plains Police at 131 444, or alternatively, they can share information anonymously through Crime Stoppers Tasmania.
