A significant amount of Police resources have spent the last 24+ hours searching the greater Hobart area for three stolen vehicles after two separate incidents yesterday.
Police say three vehicles were stolen from the Huon area with two Nissan Navaras taken from an address in Eggs and Bacon Bay at around 7am, while a white Toyota Hilux was stolen from the Randalls Bay area at approximately 3pm.
The Hilux, with registration D79YD, was reportedly driven by a young man, who travelled towards Hobart at high speeds before being last sighted in the Rosetta area.
Despite an extensive search involving helicopters, drones, and specialist police resources, none of the suspects or vehicles have been located and no arrests have been made.
Police are now calling on witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward and provide any information that could help with the investigation.
