Tasmania’s hit Deadloch series has achieved ‘Certified Fresh’ status on Rotten Tomatoes, boasting a 100% score from critics and an 88% audience approval rating.

Created by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan, the Prime Video series is set in the Tasmanian town of ‘Deadloch’, which was once a tranquil coastal village until a local man was found dead on the beach.

Two female detectives, the meticulous local senior sergeant Dulcie Collins and the rugged senior investigator Eddie Redcliffe from Darwin, along with their eager junior constable Abby, team up to crack the case.

With the upcoming annual arts, food and culture event, Winter Feastival, on the horizon, the trio must set aside their differences and collaborate to uncover the murderer.

The top rating show also featured the nostalgic Chickenfeed brand, with a man crucified on the rocks of Deadloch Beach while covered by an iconic chicken t-shirt.

Tyler Bern, Head of Content at Prime Video Australia, New Zealand and Canada, said that the show has quickly become a ‘cultural phenomenon’ for Prime Video.
