A rental car driver with ’shocking’ skills behind the wheel has been caught on dashcam mounting a traffic island after failing to merge before Hobart’s Tasman Bridge.
The video, which was captured shortly before 9am on Saturday morning, shows the rental car slow down significantly before pulling to the left, driving over the traffic island in-front of traffic and continuing onto the bridge in the left lane.

Labelled an ‘everyday occurrence’ by viewers, the lead-up to the ‘always-green’ lane of the bridge is hotly contested by drivers.
