UPDATED 12 MAY: A second 14-year-old has been arrested and charged over the wounding of two teenagers in an incident at Clarendon Vale last Thursday, Police have revealed.
A spokesperson said the teen was charged with two counts of wounding and an unrelated motor vehicle stealing.
He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
EARLIER 10 MAY: A 14-year-old has been taken into custody and charged after two teenagers were allegedly stabbed in Clarendon Vale on Thursday night.
The teenager was apprehended after a police search of a property yesterday where he was charged with two counts of wounding before later being granted bail.
He will appear in court at a later date.
Authorities are still searching for another youth connected to the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Both victims were hospitalised but are expected to recover from their injuries.
Hobart teen wanted by police after alleged stabbing
A Hobart teen is wanted by police after an alleged stabbing that has left two other teens with injuries tonight.
Police say the incident occurred in Clarendon Vale earlier this evening and officers are ‘following a specific line of enquiry’ to locate the offender.
The teens are believed to be known to each other.
Both victims have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
