A popular seafood cafe in Sandy Bay is set to close its doors due to concerns over an ‘uncertain future’, its owners have announced today.
The family behind the Maning Reef Cafe on Sandy Bay Road have cited rising costs, an impending lease expiration, and uncertain economic conditions as reasons for their decision to walk away.
Despite a successful summer, the family has decided to ‘exit gracefully while things are still good’.
The cafe has been a fixture in the community for 13 years and will be missed by many, including regular customers.
The closure is expected to take place around Easter.
