A woman has died in a bus fire in Launceston this morning.
Emergency services were called to Vermont Road in Mowbray just before 9am on Friday after reports a bus parked on private property was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters from Launceston and Ravenswood brought the blaze under control and discovered the woman’s body inside the bus shortly after.
A Tasmania Police spokesperson said a fire scene examination will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire.
“A formal identification of the deceased will be conducted and a report will be prepared for the coroner,” police said.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the woman’s family and loved ones.”
