Tasmania JackJumpers captain Clint Steindl has gifted his boots to a young fan who was upset after the team’s loss to the NZ Breakers in Auckland tonight.
The young fan, who traveled all the way from Tasmania to watch the game, was left speechless and called the interaction “amazing.”

“Maybe he’ll put them up in his bedroom or something. Gives him something to aspire to. That’s what we’re trying to do in Tassie,” Steindl said.
“I mean he traveled all the way out to see us go to win and unfortunately it didn’t happen and yeah, it was just something I thought I could do to try to put a smile on his face”.
