A sewage spill has forced the closure of Kingston Beach, south of Hobart, for swimming this morning.
Kingborough Council staff discovered the spill at the yacht club stormwater outlet earlier today and have notified TasWater, who are now on site working to resolve the issue.

The council has placed signs in the area advising people not to swim and are monitoring the situation.
They say updates will be provided as they become available.
