Kingston hoons caught by police have cars seized, clamped

Police have recently seized and clamped four vehicles following ongoing investigations into hooning and dangerous driving in the Kingston area.

Two 25-year-old men caught by police are also being proceeded against for hooning-related offences.

Acting Sergeant Lucas Brouwer has thanked the local community for their “continued interest and support” in cracking down on hoons and dangerous drivers in their neck of the woods.

“Information provided by community members helps us to quickly identify traffic offenders and the vehicles used in these dangerous incidents,” he said.

“With assistance from the community, police have been gathering video evidence from a range of sources including home and business CCTV and dash cam and mobile phone footage.”

“Rest assured, police are targeting these traffic offenders and they will be held to account to ensure all motorists are safe on our roads.”
