Tasmania Police have charged a 36-year-old man with several firearm and drug related offences, as part of an investigation into eight recent car burglaries in the Kingborough area – south of Hobart.
Police raided the Kingston home around 9 PM on Wednesday night, locating an unregistered firearm, a ‘trafficable quantity’ of methylamphetamine and a ‘large amount’ of stolen property.

The man will face the Hobart Magistrates Court later today, charged with multiple offences.
Police have thanked the community for the information provided which lead to arrest of the offender.
