Police have released CCTV images of a woman they believe was murdered at a New Town home, in a bid to piece together her final movements before her body was found weeks later.
The 61-year-old woman was found dead inside a Lissadell Court home around 4pm on Saturday, May 17.
A 56-year-old man, who lived at the same address, has since been charged with her murder.
Detectives now believe the woman was last seen alive around March 18 – nearly two months before her body was discovered.
Tasmania Police released images of the woman today, taken on that date.

Detective Inspector David Gill said investigators were working to build a timeline of her movements.
“Detectives from South East CIB are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the woman’s death,” Gill said.
“As we work to form a timeline, we’re seeking assistance from the public in relation to the women’s movements prior to when she was located.”
Gill said the woman was a familiar face in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
“We believe the woman regularly attended the Glenorchy CBD and New Town areas and we’re asking that anyone who has seen her, assisted her or had interactions with her, to contact us,” he said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444, quoting OR 805693, or Crime Stoppers Tasmania anonymously.
