Police are investigating after an armed robbery occurred at Woolworths Supermarket in Mowbray last night.
A male youth entered the supermarket around 9:50 PM and selected ‘a quantity of items’ before attempting to leave the store without paying.

When the youth was approached by supermarket staff, he produced a knife and threatened staff, before fleeing on foot.
Police say one was injured during the incident, and the youth is described as 12-15 years old, slim build, wearing a black jumper and glasses.
Investigations are continuing.
