Lifeguards are back on-duty at Clifton Beach for the summer season!
A popular spot for surfers and beachgoers, the last lifeguard season saw over 100 preventative actions performed, multiple first-aid treatments and included the promotion of water safety messages.
The service was established in 2005 due to a high rate of rescues and incidents at Clifton Beach, which was identified as one of the top 5 black spots for drownings per capita in Australia at the time.

The lifesaving service will be on duty from Monday to Thursday until February 9, 2023 from 9AM to 4:30PM.
