A South Hobart cafe owned by councillor Mike Dutta and his daughter Zelinda has been vandalised for the second time this year, in what has been described as a ‘racial attack’.
Customers were served on Saturday morning while the racist graffiti remained on the front wall of the popular café.
Ms Sherlock took to Facebook to vent her frustration, saying she and her father have been the target of vandalism around Hobart.
“We are not ‘…brown alien bastards’ – but the person/people may want to display some strength of character and come into my Dad’s cafe and have a chat. And on a condescending note, please use spell check,” she said.

The latest spate of vandalism comes two weeks before the café is set to close its doors for good, as previously reported by Pulse.
The store does not operate any CCTV cameras, but police are working to identify the perpetrator.
