The vehicle was later found by police on Grices Road and was seized for examination.

Police are now asking the public for help tracking down the Hilux driver and are particularly interested in any dashcam footage of the vehicle in the Tea Tree area between 3:50pm and 4:50pm on Saturday.

“Information can be provided anonymously,” a spokesperson said.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Bridgewater CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at crimestopperstas.com.au.”
