A 49-year-old man has been charged with firearm and drug offences after a police search of a Brighton property on Wednesday.
The incident saw officers search the residence and surrounding area around 3pm yesterday, where they allegedly uncovered firearms, ammunition and drug related paraphernalia.

Police said several firearms and parts, including long arms and a pistol, were found and that investigations into exactly where they came from are ongoing.
Police arrested the man at the search location without incident.
The man was scheduled to appear in court today.
