Police said they located and seized the firearms along with ammunition, drug paraphernalia and stolen property.

A 35-year-old Ravenswood man was taken into custody.

He is expected to be charged with multiple firearms-related offences.

Tasmania Police said any illicit firearm was “a concern” and that “firearms in the wrong hands are dangerous”.

“Anyone with information about stolen or illegal firearms is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously,” a spokesperson said.
