Man arrested after vehicle with three dogs stolen in Invermay

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after a vehicle containing three dogs was allegedly stolen from Invermay in northern Tasmania.

The incident occurred on Sunday, with the vehicle later recovered at nearby Newnham.

All three dogs were safely returned to their owner.

Officers from George Town arrested the Mayfield man this morning.

He remains in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
