A Smithton man has been arrested after allegedly wounding somebody earlier this week.
The 46-year-old from the small north-west town was taken into custody on Wednesday following the Monday incident.

He is facing charges for wounding and possessing a dangerous article in a public place.
“He will appear in an out of hours court today,” police said on Thursday.
“Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance and cooperation throughout the investigation.”
